purchased a book which was highly recommended by my leadership & management lecturer called Spiritual Intelligence - The Ultimate Intelligence.
so far the read is good. enjoying every bit of information provided.
i would like to quote a paragraph from the book which i think many of us out there probably do not know or are ignorant abt and that is....
"Ideally, our three basic intelligences work together and support one another. Our brainss are designed so that they can do this. But each of them - IQ, EQ and SQ - has its own area of strength, and they can function seperately. That is, we aren't necessarily high or low in all three simultaneously. One needn't be high in IQ or SQ to be high in EQ. One could be high in IQ but low in both EQ and SQ, and so on."
i think the last line is the most meaningful. the most important is to not lose our individual humility. dat is, always keep ourself in check and make sure we're in line with our morals and believes. never be arrogant, proud or showy or look down on others.
doesnt mean one is clever academically means he/she is high in emotional intelligence as well. God is fair. there's no such thing as the best of both worlds.
